DICOM Medical Images

Health Vault supports medical images in standard DICOM format — CT, MRI, X-ray, and other imaging studies. Upload files through the dedicated DICOM uploader, view them in the built-in viewer, and share them securely with your doctors.

What You Can Upload

CT (computed tomography) scans
MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans
X-ray and other medical imaging studies
Standard DICOM files with the .dcm extension

How to Upload

Open the Documents section in Health Vault.
Select the DICOM uploader (a dedicated upload mode for medical images).
Upload DICOM files (.dcm) from your device.
Wait for processing — images will become available for viewing.
